This video is of our new "self correcting" chute. We have had many people compliment us on this design. Not only is it safer for the dogs but it allows trials to move along faster by removing the need for a permanent "chute fixer", thereby freeing up an extra hand to help elsewhere.
This video was shot on July 25, 2009 at an agility Fun match in Orleans Ontario. The time elapsed between each shot was approx 30 seconds to allow the handlers to line up the dogs again. As you can see, there are 5 dogs of different sizes and speeds, and there is no need for the chute to be adjusted. We do not guarantee that this chute will "never" need to be adjusted, but it does cut out a significant amount of the concern for safety. Click on the link below to watch!!

Our chutes come with 2 options for attachment. If your current barrel has a lip, then we provide you with a ratchet strap attachment. If you have a barrel that does not have a lip, we will provide you with a velcro attachment and the additional velcro that you will need to place on your own barrel.
All of our chutes are made of 420 D material. This material is weather proof. Most of our color choices are also UV resistant. *Color selection may vary due to lot sizes.

*Buffer pads can only be installed on *new* barrels. If you would like a buffer pad added to your existing barrel you will need to ship it to us. Shipping is at owners expense.
This chute was made on site at the 2008 AAC Nationals. It is a mixture of a teal top and a blue bottom.
This chute was made to include all of the main colors of the NB flag. Red top, blue sides, and a gold bottom. The gold stripe in the middle is the "buffer" pad that goes on the entrance of the barrel. Please see next picture for example for "buffer" pad.
This is an example of our buffer pad. All buffer pads are made to match the chute design. Durable felt is sewn into the buffers to cover the sharp edge of the entrance end of the barrel. The buffers are held on by industrial velcro on the outside rim and snaps along the inside rim.

CHUTE CARE:
EVEN WITH THE HIGH QUALITY OF FABRIC WE USE, ALL OUR CHUTES REQUIRE THE PURCHASER TO FOLLOW SOME SIMPLE CARE INSTRUCTIONS.
1) Do not leave you chute outside for extended periods of time. If left to sit through rain, then sun, then rain again, it can cause the material to fade and/or mold. Folding the material up and placing it under a shelter or tarp will give your chute a longer lifespan.
2) Do not use your chute as a tarp to keep other equipment off the ground. Heavy equipment can cause tears in your chute fabric if dragged across the material.
3) Al ways allow your chute to completely dry before storing for any length of time. This will avoid mold growth in the material.
4) Please be aware that acid rain, lawn chemicals, and chlorine will all fade the colour out of fabric. These conditions/factors will fade any material given a long enough exposure. Storing your chute in a clean dry place will allow for a longer lifespan.
